Job Purpose The role is responsible for managing the marketing for defined Business areas within the Group. Collaborating with operational colleagues, often at a senior level, to understand challenges and opportunities is key to delivering our strategic and tactical marketing solutions. Success Measures Successful management and delivery of marketing campaigns on time and to the agreed brief. An uplift in marketing leads as a result of campaign activity managed. Clear marketing programmes for all agreed activities within their defined areas of responsibility. Recognised positive contribution to the business in execution of activity and in active involvement and support for Marketing colleagues and stakeholders.· An understanding of TrustFord and TrustFirstParts and how its business areas and marketing functions add measurable value. Known and respected for their professional and consistent approach to all areas of their work. Responsibilities To understand the existing plans and develop the forward marketing calendar relevant to their specific business areas. To work closely with colleagues - managing prioritising and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing campaign plans. To deliver accurate and effective marketing briefs to marketing colleagues and relevant agencies with a clear timeline for on-and offline needs. To work alongside the Content Manager and with in-house designers to ensure that brand consistency and commercial goals are being achieved. To build rapport with Divisional Heads and Managers and develop agreed marketing strategies and plans. To effectively manage their allocated budget To support PR activity as required Required Skills The successful candidate will have experience and a broad understanding of all elements of the marketing mix including websites, digital advertising, events, direct marketing campaigns (DM, SMS and Email), video content, social media, paid search, marketing literature and advertising. Ideally you will also have experience and are confident with PR and are able to work with the Head of Marketing and Social Media Manager on planning and supporting activities. You will also be flexible and able to bring your expertise to ad hoc business needs, able to support the other Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing as required. Working with the Head of Marketing to ensure that all creative content is achieving the highest regard for our brand – ensuring our values are reflected through everything we deliver. The role is likely to suit a degree educated individual with passion for innovation and brilliant brand execution. You must be able to thrive in a fast moving environment. Previous marketing campaign management, exceptional communication and organisational skills are a given. Written and verbal communication skills of the highest standard, confident to liaise with internal colleagues by email, phone or in meetings. Excellent knowledge of Email and the web. IT skills – including confident handling of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word Exceptional attention to detail, able to proof read proposed materials as one of the trusted ‘pairs of eyes’ for the business. They should have the ability to manage time effectively to minimise inefficiency and maximise productivity. The ability to work professionally and creatively within a very busy team, some of whom will frequently be working remotely.
