The major responsibility of this role is to proactively manage and support the corporate systems. To provide IT Service Support for escalated issues. To further develop, install, configure, and maintain all components of the corporate network. Offer the best customer services to our internal and external colleagues. Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively manage the corporate infrastructure to agreed business SLA’s and provide a consistent reporting mechanism for network performance, with high visibility. Manage and maintain a consistent change management process, recording, and approving change requests as required Provide documentation, training, and guidance as required by the department or our internal customers (with departmental agreement). Serve as an senior technical resource in the following, but not limited to, the following areas WAN, LAN, WiFi, VMWARE environment. Troubleshoot and resolve 3rd line problems. Analyze and resolve technical problems for established systems. Recommend system solutions for short, medium and long-term network provisions. Install, configure and maintain current infrastructure systems Consult with users and evaluate requirements, recommend options, provide costs, and coordinate tasks for installation. Manage and maintain user profiles, user environments, directories, and security, as appropriate. Work with vendors to resolve complex infrastructure or server based problems. Maintain central documentation to ensure a high attention to detail is kept at all times. Provide support for on-going projects as directed. Technical Development and Maintenance Undertake defined, regular audit and maintenance tasks along with general technical housekeeping. Implement industry-standard and company IT-related procedures and policies (acceptable use, data protection, purchasing etc). Further develop your diagnostic skills and will be encouraged to achieve recognised qualifications. Ensure that all relevant documentation is being completed correctly and completely. Time Management and Reporting Use the helpdesk system to track queries. Keep records of time spent on fault resolution and other activities. Undertake various other tasks as detailed, to a level commensurate with your training, knowledge and skills. Other Requirements As a prerequisite of the post of Project Analyst you will have enhanced access to sensitive commercial and personal data, across the company. You must exercise caution and restraint when dealing with data of this nature. It is expected of this position that your integrity will be beyond reproach. During reviews it may be necessary to make changes/additions to the post, such changes will be in line with the nature of the post and its required capabilities.
